What goes into the final price of an imported car

The car itself, shipping, customs, registration and extras. A breakdown of every line you’ll see in your contract.

The price on the website is where the conversation starts. Here’s what the final figure in your contract is made of.

The car

The purchase price in China for the exact version and options you chose.

Shipping

Transport from the factory or dealer to the port, sea freight and delivery to our showroom. It depends on the route and the size of the car.

Customs and taxes

Import duty and VAT. The rates depend on the type of car and the country where you register it, so your manager gives you exact figures for your case.

Registration and paperwork

Certification, registration and number plates. We prepare the documents and book the appointments.

Extras

English setup, accessories and anything else you add. Each one is a separate line, so you can see what you’re paying for and drop what you don’t need.
